218-326-5573Local volunteer, mentor, and conservation leader Cavour Johnson, of Coleraine, has been essential to the coordination and planning efforts to improve stormwater runoff in Coleraine. To help showcase the importance of clean water, Cavour produced a video displaying the past, present, and future of water quality in the area.
His work to collaborate with city officials, staff and community volunteers while tracking match funding and hours has resulted in a Clean Water Fund grant to help fund raingarden projects in Coleraine as well as additional planned stormwater projects to further improve water quality.
