Local non-profit conservation group Itasca Waters is going to hold a series of virtual learning webinars on the 1st Thursday of each month starting on April 7th from noon-1pm.
It’s called PRACTIVAL WATER WISDOM: A VIRTUAL LEARNING SERIES and will have a different presenter for each month that discusses a variety of subjects from water clarity and AIS to chemicals and bacteria in our lakes and rivers.
The first topic on April 7th is presented by Dr. John Downing, the Director of the Sea Grant College Program, and will be talking about decreasing water clarity in Minnesota’s Northcentral region and giving advice on keeping our lakes and streams from harm.
