Are you a landowner who is interested in becoming a better steward of your woods?

The University of Minnesota Extension is offering a Master Woodland Owner Course in Itasca County starting in February 2022 and going to June 2022. This landowner education program teaches family forest owners the ins and outs of forest health, management for recreation and wildlife, monetizing your land, estate planning, and more!

The course is a hybrid design with both in-person and virtual learning which allows people to participate and learn at their own pace while also learning hands-on with instructors and fellow woodland owners.

This Master Woodland Owner Course is limited to 35 people. Registration for Itasca County residents is offered at a substantially reduced rate of $45 (typical course registration of $295).
